About The Print Shop....

The Print Shop (GP) Inc. is your one source commercial printing, promotional product and signage company
located in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

We started in 1995, with just three people, to provide commercial offset printing services in Grande Prairie.
To meet the growing needs of our clients, we expanded from exclusively offset printing to include digital copy services
and the staff grew as well. With the addition of our digital presses, we could now offer the option to print small quantity,
full color or black and white copies at an economical price with quick turnaround time.

In 2003, we expanded yet again to include sign and label capabilities for our clients with the purchase of our
first wide format inkjet printer and vinyl cutter. And we did not stop there! In 2004, we joined the Promotional
Products Professionals of Canada and could now offer promotional products.

We now service the entire Peace Country in Northern Alberta and British Columbia, and have clients in the Yukon
and Northwest Territories.

We built our business by going above and beyond to ensure our clients are completely satisfied with their products
and our service and we look forward to the opportunity to become your one source commercial printing, promotional
product and signage company.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

CAN I EMAIL IN MY ARTWORK OR LOGO?

Yes, you can absolutely email in your artwork! Please send your artwork to tps2@telus.net or if your file is too large to email, attach your file and upload it to our dropbox.

WHAT FILE FORMATS WORK BEST FOR MY ARTWORK?

We support a variety files types, however, the best one for us, and you, is a PDF file as it is least likely to show design differences from one machine to the next. Most home design programs will allow you to export or save a file as a PDF. We also ask if you are sending us artwork that you send us a JPEG file so we can make sure that nothing has changed from your original file. Please check your saved files as well to make sure that nothing has changed when you saved it as a PDF.

WHAT FILE FORMATS WORK BEST FOR MY LOGO?

If you have a logo you would like to use on your projects, please send us a PDF, EPS or a high resolution JPEG (300 - 600 dpi).

WHAT DOES "FULL BLEED" MEAN?

"Full bleed" is a printing term that refers to any image area that goes off the edge of a sheet after trimming. The bleed area is the part of your artwork that needs to extend 1/8" beyond the paper size or finish size of your artwork. If possible, please also include crop marks or trim marks when you are saving your file.
